Was is the worst way to power our planet?

Out of Coal, fracking, domestic and foreign oil, I think nuclear is the worst way to power the planet. In my opinion, nuclear energy creates the most damage.

When dealing with nuclear energy, you have to be careful. If there is ever an accident the land can stay toxic for 1,000 years.

Take the incident that happened with Chernobyl. It happened more than 20 years ago, but it still affects us. If you go near the power plant, it can still harm you since its still really toxic.

A very small matter of nuclear energy contains a very big matter of energy.

Nuclear energy is a very big problem. Once the reactor fails, it can create an explosion.

Nuclear energy has a lot of cons to it and not a lot of pros. Nuclear power plants should be removed and replaced with something less dangerous. It will take some time, but at least we will be doing good for our planet.

Nuclear energy can be life-threatening. People who work near power plants are risking their life.

Both you and I know that we dont want another accident like Fukushima or chernobyl happening again right? Right.

We can start making some change today. No matter how long it takes, we can do it. We should clear out nuclear power plants for good. Use something more environmental friendly.

Nuclear vs. Foreign and Domestic Oil.

In my opinion, I think nuclear energy is worser then Foreign and domestic oil. 

Nuclear energy is when you split atoms apart to get a highly toxic substance. Domestic oil is oil that we get from our country. Last, but not least, Foreign oil is what we get from foreign countries. 

They are all bad for our environment, but some how we still use all of them to power our planet. 

Oil spills are highly expensive to clean up and also it takes a long time. Plus, the thing they use to clean it up, Corexit, is 4x more toxic then oil itself. 

When there is an oil spill often times you can clean up the mess in like a couple of years. Not Nuclear energy though. 

But to be honest I think nothing is worser than nuclear energy. 

The accident that happened in Chernobyl was all cause by nuclear energy. In 1986, the accident called Chernobyl happened. This is important because it still affect us till this very day. Chernobyl was a nuclear power plant that its reactor exploded. It cause the radiation to leak into the atmosphere and into towns. 

The chernobyl incident was tragic. Ever since that accident happened there was a lot of kids being born with mental disabilities. 

In my opinion, Nuclear energy is extremely dangerous and the crazy thing about it is that we have like many nuclear power plants in the United States. Even though domestic and foreign creates problems as well, I will still choose them over nuclear energy. 

Fracking vs. Coal

Personally I feel that fracking is way worst then Coal. Both fracking and coal have their pros and cons, but fracking has to many cons.

"Coal is a small part of electricity and can easily be replaced with a cleaner source", said a worker. But you cant replace fracking.

Coal mining is a whole process just like fracking.

In coal mining, mountains get blowed up and all the dump blown goes down to the streams and the valleys were people live.

In fracking though, people are at a higher risk at dying.

People pay for their water not for contaminated water. "We cant drink money", what the people protesting wrote on their signs.

There have been 1,000 documented cases of water contamination, do we want more? I didn't think so.

Coal mining has gave many coal miners black lung disease and has killed many coal miners. Fracking hasn't killed many people, but they have affected our rivers, groundwater so basically our drinking water.

Fracking cannot be easily cleaned since there are many toxic chemicals. Coal mining, can be cleaned even though it will take time.

Flammable tap water in colorado? methane explosions in West Virginia? And poisoned water in Pennsylvania? thats what fracking can do.

In my opinion, I think fracking is worser then coal mining. They both have the same affects on our planet, but fracking has little bit more. People need to realize that their money is going to waste on paying for their water when its all being contaminated.

Is Global warming really Man-Made, or a Man-Made myth?

Some us think that global warming is made by human beings and it is. Yes, we have been having crazy weather our whole lifetime, but its been happening often now.

Earth is showing many sign of Global warming already.

In The Day After The Tomorrow, all types of crazy weather was happening. Like, when it rained so hard it covered New York's streets.
Its crazy how 5 to 7 tornados were all happening at once in the same place.

It also was snowing in places that it never snowed before. In The day after tomorrow, It snowed in India when its always sunny over there.

In Rapid City, South Dakota the fastest temperature drop was 27.2 °C (49 °F) in 15 minutes. Where they do that at?! 
 
 "2012 was the hottest year in the last few years", AL Gore said. The hottest month recorded was July 2012.

Glaciers and snow caps are quickly melting. Polar bears were drowning and dying because their homes were melted away by the heat.


Is global warming man-made? You tell me. We been having more unusual weather ever since our technology has been improving. Some people think this is just a whole big "myth" and that global warming doesn't exist. It does though. My opinion hasn't changed and will never change. I still think that humans have a huge part on this. They're responsible for the weather changing so quickly today.
